Overview of Federal Programs

The Office of Federal Programs (OFP) is responsible for the management of the district’s Title I,
Title II, Title III, Title IV, Title V, and ATSI programs that were authorized under the Elementary
and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), as amended by Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
What does OFP do? OFP is responsible for grants administration, program management,
monitoring, data collection, compliance, and reporting of all activities that have been funded
through the following programs: Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, Title V, and ATSI.

How does OFP ensure compliance?

OFP must ensure that all rules and regulations under Office of Budget and Management (OMB), Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG) and Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) are followed to ensure compliance and management of all federal education grants.


Who receives support from the use of federal program funds?

Federal funds are used to support programs, activities, and initiatives that assist students with, parents, teachers, principals, district leaders, school leaders, and other instructional staff as they work to improve the academic performance of all students while promoting professional growth and learning opportunities.
